Defaults
- Duplex Printing
All devices, by default, will be set to print on both sides of the paper (double sided). Users are encouraged to reduce margins and utilize an eco-font such as ‘Century Gothic’ to reduce consumable usage.
- Black and White
All devices by default will be set to print in Black and White.
- Color
Users are encouraged to print color documents only when necessary and to print color in the lowest color quality necessary.
Copy Center
Users are encouraged to utilize the campus copy and reproduction centers for all repetitive, large or specialty jobs.
Jobs requiring binding, cutting, collating, odd sizes or other non-standard printing are to be processed through the campus Copy Centers or the College Reprographics Center.
Toner Cartridge - disposal
Empty Toner Cartridges should be thrown away (Not Recycled).
Although the new toner cartridges are made of plastic, it is not the kind of plastic that is recyclable.
