Software Support & Image Content

Images capture the state of a computer after all necessary applications, updates and configurations have been installed, making it easier to deploy and manage software on multiple devices. Approved Images and Licensed Software are managed and deployed by the ITS Endpoint Services team.

Windows 10 and Office 2016

Windows 10 is the current user operating system from Microsoft, a significant update to Windows 7, and is the default operating system on new computers. We believe Windows 10 64bit and Office 2016 are stable and ready for deployment in a production learning environment, and for all user computers supporting those environments.

Windows 10 for Students

Information Technology Services (ITS) is upgrading academic, open lab, and classroom computers to MS Windows 10 with Office 2016 for fall semester! Computers in classrooms, open labs, Learning Commons, libraries, lounges, and other areas for student login will be upgraded to Windows 10 and Office 2016 for fall semester. The current Windows 7 and Office 2013 image will continue to be available on academic computers through the end of summer semester (August 7, 2016). Computers with Windows 10 and Office 2016 are now available for testing in the Learning Commons open labs. More information is coming very soon to this page, so check back often!
