Windows 11 Upgrade
Information Technology Services (ITS) is in the process of upgrading academic and classroom computers to Microsoft Windows 11 and Office 365 Enterprise Apps for fall semester. The current Windows 10 and Office 2019 image will continue to be available on academic and classroom computers through the end of summer semester (August 6, 2023). Computers with Windows 11 and Office 365 are now available for testing in Learning Commons and Centers for Learning Excellence.
Upgrades of employee office computers to Windows 11 and Office 365 will begin this summer, and continue through fall and spring. Upgrades to faculty office computers will be aligned as much as possible with the academic environment upgrade. Employees will receive emails about your office computer upgrades separately, with specific timing and instructions. If you wish to upgrade your employee computer to Windows 11 now, please email windows11upgrade@tri-c.edu, and a technician will contact you.
