Requesting Software Support

To request the installation of software on any College owned/managed computer, please complete the EGS Software Installation Request form: Software Installation Request

Adobe Licensing Updates 2020

  1. All College computers not running Adobe Creative Cloud will have Acrobat Reader DC installed as the default application for opening PDFs.
  2. Acrobat Pro DC remains on faculty and staff office computers (desktops, laptops), and require signing in with your College email address and network password.
  3. Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including Acrobat Pro DC, remains on existing student computers in computer labs, and is being added to a limited number of computers in the open labs.
  4. With the new Acrobat Pro license model, you are able to install Acrobat Pro on personal computers with your College faculty or staff login.
    1. Visit 
    2. "Sign In" at the top right corner with your College email address and network password.  Click on the grid or "nine square" icon in the upper right.  Select "Acrobat", then "Get Acrobat Desktop".
  5. When do you need to use Acrobat Pro on your office computer?
    1. Editing or merging existing PDFs.
    2. Creating PDFs with fillable fields or other security and accessibility features.

Software Center

There are pre-packaged software titles available to install on-demand on administrative (faculty/staff) office computers:

  1. Open the "Tri-C Resources" shortcut on your Desktop.
  2. Scroll down and launch "Software Center".
  3. Listed on the "Available Software tab" are titles not yet installed on your computer, and are available for you to install. Choose a title and click on "Install".
  4. Follow any prompts that pop up during the procedure.
  5. The "Installation Status" tab shows the progress and status of the installation.
  6. The "Installed Software" tab shows software tha was previously installed.
  7. You can view the "Options" tab for additional available information.

Images capture the state of a computer after all necessary applications, updates and configurations have been installed, making it easier to deploy and manage software on multiple devices. Approved Images and Licensed Software are managed and deployed by the ITS Endpoint Services team. The current software content of these images are available for information purpose on the the links listed below:

Windows 10 core image (deployed on Administrative (faculty/staff) and Academic (student) computers)

Apple OSX core image (deployed on iMacs, Probooks, etc)

WCED core image  image (deployed on Workforce and Economic Development lab computers)
